Mount Vernon District Supervisor Gerry Hyland was involved in a non-life threatening car accident over the weekend on his way to his farm in Accomack County, Virginia. He sustained injuries to his left leg and hip. After undergoing a successful surgery on Monday, November 17th, Supervisor Hyland is recovering in the hospital and doing well.
Supervisor Hyland's office is open, and he is in constant communication with his staff about Fairfax County business.
