Scott Surovell sworn in as 44th District State Delegate
About a dozen Mt. Vernon Democrats joined Scott Surovell's family, friends, and supporters for a ceremonial swearing in ceremony at the State House of Delegates in Richmond Sunday, January 17. The ceremony was held in the House chamber and we joined Scott for a reception at his new office afterwards. About 45 people attended. Scott was one of the few new Democrats elected last November and we are looking forward to supporting him in his legislative efforts this term.
