Our great work in raising voter turnout was covered in a blog entry on this site. On election day (November 6th), the West Potomac Young Democrats ran their own precinct, the Grosvenor precinct. For more info, read the blog post.

Now that local elections are over, we will only be meeting twice a month until January. February 12th is the presidential primary, and our district will need at the polls handing out sample ballots and such, the easy stuff. There is not a lot of get out the vote/canvassing/knocking on doors going on during presidential elections, because for the most part, voter turnout is good. So, that leads to a lot of work being done at the polling place. More on that to come later, but here are the meeting dates coming up:
